You described the music as &quot;heat-haze digital apparitions.&quot; A nice phrase!  But for what it&#039;s worth, there are no computer or otherwise electronically-generated sounds on the album.

The humming tones you&#039;re hearing are a natural acoustical result of the overtone interactions between the piano, voices, violins, harpsichord, etc.
