nice review, good to get some other perspectives, for the record no sequencers were used in creating this album with the exception of the track 'Somewhere, Anywhere', and on that track only the base track was sequenced, the rest of the sounds were classic overdubs. i rarely, hardly ever use any sequence based software, at any rate, it's nice to think the intuitive process of used for years is refined enough to simulate the precision of some automated sequencer. yeah the tracks are busy, not for everyone! but really man, had to comment on your presumption, i really don't care for grid-style sequencer-type composition. if you care, scope my 'Standing Still, Facing Forward' on Amish, or my work in RV Paintings, better insight into my work.
