Introduction to the online version
The Sound Projector third issue was published in January 1998. This issue had a contribution from David Elliott (musician, tape-label owner, fanzine editor) who had written about Krautrock and Kosmische in the 1980s and is now a music journalist living in Japan. We were also joined by Niall Richardson, brother of Harley, with a tempting glimpse into his exotica collection; Niall has since become a recognised expert in Bollywood soundtrack records. Andrea B was a mystery American woman who ran a small record label called Garden of Delights; she made a brief appearance with short record reviews in The Discurator’s Den.
For this online edition, the content remains exactly as written, although I have inserted a few additional comments in places. Certain dates (eg release dates, original recording dates), missing from the printed version, have been added to record reviews where they might enhance our understanding. This sort of ‘research’ is now possible using Google. The editorial content remains unaltered.
Below is the original contents page and credits page.

June 2007 update: the Kosmische page from issue 3 has now been recycled into Krautrock Kompendium.
