MES / The Fall 2007 radio show reup

faceofmes.jpgAnother radio show from the archive. Mark E Smith and The Fall. An excellent radio programme compiled and presented by Harley Richardson. From 13th April this year. Well received and well deserved. Harley selected the material no-one else would dare touch. Attached portrait of MES is also by Harley. Playlist available here. Beep Beep Beep Beep.

Ambient 2005 radio show reup

ambient.jpgAnother radio show selection from the past. Enjoy this selection of Ambient Driftworks, Isolationism, and Squashy Quagmire music from back in the day. During 1995 I didn’t listen to anything else! Tactile and Main are still firm favourites. You should buy as many Main records as you possibly can. Show originally broadcast 1st April 2005. No fooling. Playlist available. This artwork you see is an ‘Elizabethan Mannequin’ I drew last year. Not selected for publication in the magazine. but that’s no reflection on her ‘pincushion’ pelt and immobile appearance.

Boredoms 2005 radio show reup

dragon.JPGWhile the radio show is on its summer holiday, here’s a podcast from the radio archive - our Boredoms Are Go! special from 2005. This nice picture of a cosmic dragon appeared in TSP’s first issue. Note his lovely feathery green scales!

Radio show hiatus II

hayward-ed-2_2007.JPG
Dear listeners

Tune in tomorrow (Friday 6th July) to hear my last live radio show for a few weeks. Resonance FM are moving to new premises, in the hopes of re-opening in early August this year. In the interim period, I gather that repeat shows may be broadcast. We’ll try and shuffle around the podcasts on the site here as well, for your listening pleasure.

Kind regards

Ed Pinsent
